Some Insights about Poland

I just went to a birthday party for some of the Polish members of my family. Everyone there was wishing me good luck with my trip and telling me how much I'm going to like it there. My nana told me that living in Kraków is not very expensive and that one of her friends doesn't even find it necessary to cook for her self because she can get a two course meal for 15 zl. (~$5). That's good news for me because I won't have anywhere to keep food once I'm in the university dorms. My aunt had been to Kraków a few times and her suggestions to me were to find a place near the rynek główny (the main market square) where they serve a warm honey wine that it supposed to be very good. Also, at the sukiennice (a large building where they sell a lot of stuff) my aunt says I should get a wooden chess set because they are very well crafted. Everyone else had good advice too like getting everyone's skype, writing down addresses of people I meet, so I can stay in contact over the years, and to watch out for pick pockets. I glad everyone is so excited for me, and it's only a little less than two weeks until Poland.
